Peter Portugal,Eureka,ca; anyone know him?

    Doing an internet search on boattail speedsters and ran across info on him and the boattail HOTROD he has built. Anyone know him or seen this Car?

    Yes, I have met him. It was in Eureka probably 20 years ago. He invited me over to his place to look at a boattail roadster that he was building with a body completly made of wood. If my memory serves me well the frame was also of wood. He entered it in a couple of shows that I attended, one was in Santa Rosa and was an outside event. The other I can't remember well but think it was the Sacramento Auto Expo. I can't possibly remember the dates. If he's still alive I would think you could find him in a Humboldt County phone book. Hope this is of some use to you, Mike.

    Same guy, still alive, I've met him, but he's kinda reclusive. He does amazing work.

    I see he's got Gene Davenport's '39 on his website. I always thought that was done (at least partially) at Kreations. Either way, neat car.

    The Packard with v-10 is what I'd like to see more of. Not much on the net. really outside the norm.
