Jeeze...lighten up Francis. Your thread is still alive and plenty of people think you're right for starting it. Sheesh...you expected people to *****, then you're mad when they do. Either post some art or don't.

Dan and Cab, both you's guy's are swell.... Although I would like to see what Dan mentioned, a monkey in a hot-rod, put a cool fez a top his head and cigarette in his mouth, while driving a cool hop-up... I'd buy that if I could afford Dan or Cabs paintings???

Man that car art post really filled this art show post with too much misc ********! Keep it all together! Makes it easier to view. And if any of the reasoning behind it was directed at me or my rogue letterpress take a peak at me and get ready to kiss my pimpled ***. Cause you cant get more traditional than a 100 year old letterpress to print you traditional hot rod stuff. I have just begun to spread my reign of **********. But if I wasn't part of your modivation factor then just disregard my ranting. I have been working in tight spaces with multiple somvents for the majority of the weekend! ENJOY the final print. 3" still needs to be trimmed off of the top to make the final size 11" x 14" just got done printing about 75 of these beauties.

 

Kaspar...that's where we live....just out of curiosity, do you remember the photo locale?

 

I'm not sure, since I wasn't driving at the moment. We didn't take the 59/77 from Houston to Corpus. I THINK we took the 185 from Victoria down south. I DO know that an hour or so after we p***ed this junkyard, we drove through a tiny town called Tivoli. Not completely sure about the roads though, I'll check with my buddies and see if they remember where the photo was shot. Here's another picture from the same junkyard.

I had a buddy sell a 58 buick 4 dr limited for a unglodly amount of money. If I was you I'd go back.

I dig them all in the one spot, makes my viewing pleasure all the more easy to access

Talked to the guy who drove the car and he thinks it was along road 59 somewhere between Wharton and Edna. Not 100% sure though.
