I've posted quite a few photos here already from B'ville, mostly of HAMB folks, which I think are the funnist to look at. Here are a few of my "other" shots. I sure hope you guys aren't tired of seeing salt shots yet. More photos can be seen here http://photo.starblvd.net/AdventuresinBigOlds Just look for the sub-titles on the left, "B'ville" and "Salty Folks" I have hundreds more but am tired of loading them to Star.
I can't believe all of those folks are wearing shorts and t-shirts with all of that ice on the ground. Brrrrr!
Hotrodladycruser,I'm still wateing to see my picture getting a hug from you at BV, it was the high point of the trip.--TV
Pass the bib Liz.......I just shorted the keyboard!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!! Tired? How could anybody get tired of such Killer iron?Got any more? Again, thanks for sharing! Next year maybe Scribe and I are gonna make the pilgramige.......I know I'm definitly gonna get there!
Great photos. Thanks for posting them! I really dig that bare metal roadster with the copper-colored chassis.
Denise, those are great. How could we get tired of pix of B'ville?? I think the 12D was getting pinstriped at York by Jake just before it was my turn. thanks.
That low-slung nekkid (no paint) Deuce roadster that's in Denise's 5th picture has a Studebaker V8 engine in it, according to the gal who was driving it when I stopped to talk. Notice that the valve covers have 4 studs coming through them. I looked at several 40 - 45 year old Studebaker engines today (259 and 289 cubic inch versions. All of them had only two studs poking through the valve covers. Who is the HAMB Studebaker expert that can identify the year and displacement of the engine in that nekkid Deuce?
Ohhhh YEAH!!!! Great pics Denise! The first photo...what is it and does anyone know were I can see more photos of it??? I'm thinkin' I really like that. I'd like to see more of it! Thanks... Bill
TV, lots of photos with me mauling HAMB folks. They're some of my favorites. Brush, I believe you have me confused with "Hot Rod Liz" from Winnipeg who drive the T-Bucket. I'm Denise from Detroit that drives Big Olds Bill, I'll look through the rest of my photos and see if I have any other shots of it.
Southfork, that Roadster with the Studebaker belongs to Tom Branch. For one thing, he is associated with the "Rockabilly Boogie" (#865) Roadster of HAMB fame. Wayno
I've gotten my HAMB dudes mixed up I now need to search for me and TV BRB This is ModelTSteve, right??? How about this one, Me, TV and MR BONES! SamIAm, Me and 38Chevy454 Thought this shot might turn some of you on. Sitting right on the tongue of a trailer plain as day.
