Painting my y block rams horns

I just blasted them today. Do I need to primer them first then paint them? What type of primer if I need to and what type of paint?

 

you can buy a can of cast iron grey manifold paint in the
vht brand made in usa
works grate on sand blasted manifolds
looks exactly like raw cast iron
doesnt burn offf . no primer needed

Thanks, I painted my manifold the the same color. I just dont know what to paint the rest of the motor.

 

Well one manifold has stauds at the collector and other has bolts. Does it really matter?
