Well, it's not as grand of a road trip as LARS was, but we are on the road again!! We left Wednesday with the Forty in tow, my boys and StNick riding shotgun (sleeping again). We arrived at NoSurf's house mid afternoon, then packed up for chicken at The Brookville Hotel! I followed NoSurf thru town where we registered our cars, #'s 1209-1210! Now thats a lot of cars for Thursday! We saw the Matador in the parking lot, yes the real one!! This was also in the host hotel parking lot. Kool! We hit the water park ate some burgers and joined the cruise. It's shaping up to be one cool show! I'll post as I can, but 3g coverage is not in Salina. TJJ on iPhone

Striped Cool rides After dinner we had speedster rides.... ...And midnight minibike races at NoSurfs house! Salina is HOT!!!! As I wipe the sweat from my brow sitting in the shade trying to catch my breath with an ice cold water in my right hand and an infrared thermometer in the left. I shutter at the temp.... 115! Really? I thought it was 120. People, it's a Scorcher in Salina! Even the chocolate covered frozen bananas are limp! TJJ on iPhone

Great to se you guys at the event, what a great time. The Forty looks great. Those cute kids should be making t.v. commercials they are so adorable, they take after your cute wifey. We didn't make the trek to No Surfs this year, the old man was worn out early after all that power drag racing! Take care friends, ~sololobo~
Had a great time as everyone did. Enjoyed meeting you guys after following your LARS trip daily. I posted a couple pics, the first needing no explanation the second is at the hotel on saturday morning with the Colorado guys we hung out with who were doing some spot repairs in the parking lot before the day got started.
