I was thinking this one was from the 70's, but the cabs look very similar.

It is from the 70's, mid 70's actually, there called big horns. The cabs are very similar, but have slightly differnt body lines, door shape ect.

mine is an AZ truck...1955 stepside longbox high side 259 V8 2 spd Powerflite from factory...

I have a 1972 440 built semi-snotty, with a 727 (1972) built with Transgo kit and will shift by pushbutton control from a 57 1/2 ton...1966 Newport 8 3/4 rear, 3:23 open ( til I can afford a sure grip ), 65 dodge 1/2 ton steering wheel on a 66 GM ( sorry ) tilt column...now it sits on a 90 Dakota frame, and hoping to score a 1955 1 ton and steal the 9 foot fleetside box of it, still a project....

  17. Welp..I usta drive a 55 with the "low box" when I lived in Portland, Ore. Had 8 inch chrome reverse wheels on all 4 and a really good running flathead 6, column shift 3 speed. Other drivers insisted on running into it constantly..this is the onliest photo I have of mine and it's sitting behind my 57 super chief.

Dodge Bighorn and yes the cab is the sale as the 54-60 Dodges. they built the Bighorn all the way to 75? I think with that cab. Its weird since Dodge built a heavy duty version of the 61-71 trucks and 72-80 style too and don't know why they didn't use those cabs?

Here is mine. 1955 Dodge Custom Regal, with big rear window. At fire wall there is plate where is horsepower ratings, and with little investigating it seems that its with 259, and its with 3 speed.
To my understanding in that case it is made at late -55. Early -55 still had a 3 piece rear window, right?
Bought it from Texas last january and shipped it to Finland. Soon as i get out from my work assingment i'll try to get it at running condition.

If anybody have those front ''V8'' and ''DODGE'', and fender ''Custom Regal'' decals i would like to buy those, some punk steal/broke mine.

I have some extra parts still around from my restoration. I think I have the Dodge emblem still left.

Awesome,I don't think I've ever seen a custom regal in person, just in stock file photos. I'd love to at least find a pair of those headlight rings.
