Doesn't look like there is much bracing in there. I hope you added some.

i would tie it into the back seat area. better to brace more then needed. ****s when things move a little. i believe in overkill on things like that:)

Please brace the backgl*** opening, much like the body. It gets cut loose too. Looks good so far.

Thats good advice. Brace the rear window opening also if you want the stock rear gl*** to fit once done.

I like the all thread idea to lower the roof. I used bed rail with a clamp but you have a great idea there.

Thanks for the comforting advise. Yes I do plan on bracing the hell out of the rear window as soon as I find more angle iron. As far as the "A" pillar; i will put a brace from the "A" diagonally to rear floor and extend the existing horizontals to the package shelf.

I am doing this chop by myself. I am using the allthread t****ase to raise and lower the cut lid into position...this should make it easy to adjust all 4 corners...I hope!

Special THANKS to Sleddnmatt for all his pics and emails getting me started so far on the chop that they all said couldn't be done!

do your bracing on the cheap, and use conduit. much cheaper than steel angle, and easier to cut as well.

What else to do than grind welds for a few hours on Saturday!!!
The chop is coming along.....I want to finish up all the welding/grinding and then start on the door tops.
