I'm going to see it, but seems like they butchered it up pretty good with a lot of comedy.

Ain't that the truth? I have missed mine over the years but this will for sure queer me ever gettin' another down the road. It was bad enough that people would always ask me if I was going to make mine look lilke the General Lee.

And ya know, the '67-'68 Mustangs used to be a dime a dozen to butcher into race cars if you wanted but thanks to that damn movie, every one of them is now in the process of becoming 'Eleanor'.

Yes Virginia, there is a bitter old man living inside of me. ;) :D

This is one of my pet peeves, too. I dug Eleanor, as I'm sure most car guys did. But frankly, if I was gonna build a '67 Mustang to look like a movie car, I'd MUCH rather have it look like the one Steve McQueen drove in Bullitt. Guess I'm alone in that one, though...

    $8 as opposed to 5?

The car action looks sadistic, but I think Knoxville would have been better suited as Cooter and Burt as Roscoe. I'll be seeing it opening day. I miss my 69 Charger. :( Probably never be able to afford another one after this comes out either. Even Gran Torinos got crazy after Starsky and Hutch came out last year.
