Check out the trailer for the dukes movie- http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&id=1808509770&cf=trailer
ok... thought it sounded reasonably interesting, as i grew up watchin' the show... but now i see Willie Nelson is Uncle Jessie! Fuckin-a, i'm gonna be the first in line at the theater when it comes out...
Ain't that the truth? I have missed mine over the years but this will for sure queer me ever gettin' another down the road. It was bad enough that people would always ask me if I was going to make mine look lilke the General Lee. And ya know, the '67-'68 Mustangs used to be a dime a dozen to butcher into race cars if you wanted but thanks to that damn movie, every one of them is now in the process of becoming 'Eleanor'. Yes Virginia, there is a bitter old man living inside of me.
Good one Mike. How bout this for the ricers. http://www.norcalspeedshop.com/oldtruck/forum/videos/blaupunkt.mpg
I have a buddy that has a 69 Charger, RT I think, I don't know much about other cars, and I'm begging hime to do the redneck General Lee....we're all a bunch of rednecks! But, he wants to restore it to it's original, butt ugle gold or copper....dunno!
Damn I can't wait!! I feel like that wolf in the old bugs bunny cartoons when Jessica Simpson comes out as Daisy!! WoooWooo Wooooooo!!
Yeah.............................great.........................so much for owning a 68-70 Charger....................Willie Nelson is a nice touch.
This is one of my pet peeves, too. I dug Eleanor, as I'm sure most car guys did. But frankly, if I was gonna build a '67 Mustang to look like a movie car, I'd MUCH rather have it look like the one Steve McQueen drove in Bullitt. Guess I'm alone in that one, though...
$8 as opposed to 5? The car action looks sadistic, but I think Knoxville would have been better suited as Cooter and Burt as Roscoe. I'll be seeing it opening day. I miss my 69 Charger. Probably never be able to afford another one after this comes out either. Even Gran Torinos got crazy after Starsky and Hutch came out last year.
BTTT........since everyone missed this fun little toy! http://www.norcalspeedshop.com/oldt...s/blaupunkt.mpg
