Assuming 85% volumetric efficiency my math says you're flowing 554.7cfm at 6500rpm. Even at 100% ve two 450s are way more than you can use.

A pair of 390 CFM's = 780. On par with your combo. Experts, what do you think?

A pair of 390s or if you can find them a pair of 400cfm carters from a Buick.

  6. I'm running duel 450's on my 289. I shift at 7800.
When building the engine we called Holley with all of my engine spec's and they even suggested running the duel 450's.
It's worked really well for my combo
