Model A Pickup owners I need your input

Where did you put your batteries just looking for some ideas on where I should put mine in the 29 roadster pickup. I had purchased a small vintage cooler and though I might mount it in the bed, show pictures of yours if possible.

 

mine are under the drivers seat. my truck isnt choped and i use a higher seat than most.

i have a roadster pickup also ! hid mine in plain view ! took an old cooler ! machined a piece of aluminum w a holddown for the battery to set on w bolts that go through the floor , a optima battery fit perfect , drilled p*** throughs for the wires to go down ! made up some coca cola decals as i'm a sign maker , and w the lid on most people have no idea ! people are always like can i grab a drink out of your cooler , go ahead !

 

My 29 RPU I made a small metal box that goes through the floor on the P*** side under the seat. Battery is an Odessy, been great for 7 years.

I did the same thing on both my 32 Fords ...

 

This is exactly where mine is. Was in the same place on my 60's RPU too.
