Hello everyone, I'm new to the H.A.M.B. however not really all that new to the Hot Rod world having been around them for about 30 of my 36yrs. I've just purchased my first Pre-war car. A 1938 Ford Fordor 81A. A Canadian born car which amazingly has spent its entire life in the Montreal area. I'm hoping to find H.A.M.B. useful for R&D. I'd like the car to be somewhat of a nostalgic 50's style hot rod without stepping too far into the "Ratrod" world. If anyone has any tips (ie: do's & don'ts) for a new Flathead owner, anything would be appreciated. Thank you!
Aha, so now I knoww what you bought Tommy C. Show me yours and I'll show you mine. Rigaud Saturday this weekend, highly recommended. Mark
Hello All, thanks for the welcoming. Very cool. I don't know if I can bring the car to the Rigaud Rumble this weekend but I will certainly make an effort to attend regardless. Presently the car has no wiring in it what so ever or any sort of shocks either. Waiting for parts... I suppose I could trailer it there, but whats the point in that?
Pretty Good Turn out at the Rumble this past weekend. Excellent Rockabilly bands! Very cool to see such a large local venue.
