Here's my collection of parts so far... Should be started on my frame in a couple of weeks or so... The rocket motor should be out by next weekend - and it runs!

Wow, your making some serious progress MP33. You'll be rolling in no time. Is the body painted already? Get some more pictures up before it's all done.

I haven't done a whole bunch but now that my wedding is out of the way and I finally have a welder, progress should be coming.
I have it mocked up where its going to sit, Got to finish designing my backhalf, and 4 link design so I can incorporate the mounts. Going to chop it right away and do that body work at the back around the beltline right away as well.

DAYAM! I'm in love... If I ever can afford to build a '30s rod, it's gonna be just like this Deuce. Streetable circle burners rule!

Hope its ok to post progress on a fordor sedan here haha. Seeing all of your great progress has me insprired, I'm still working on the subframe replacement, which on the fordor is completely wood, ROTTEN wood:mad:. I'm fabbing all steel to replace the wood. But I'm getting there, hopefully another couple weeks will finish the subframe and door frames. heres a link to the subframe progress if you're interested in what you all are missing out on with your tudors:D

here's some pics of My sedan. Was on the road for two years(built it the first time around in high school), but wasnt happy with the frame...So...i built a new one.
Did it as a fabrication project at school (Ferris State University...for Welding Engineering). Anyways...worked out really well for me since i got to use all of the schools equipment, as well as get all of my materials at a discount through the school...the whole ch***is ( minus front and rear axles) only set me back $1100, and thats after spending close to $700 for the ch***is engineering adjustable four link set up and coil over kit..
Motor is a BBF, dove heads, headers i made in cl***, F-1 steering box,set it up with a C-6 but gonna use a c-4 instead, 58' ford 9", 7" drop suicide front axle, 70's MG lever action shocks...
So just trying to get some more cash around to build the ****** and for some little odds and ends to get it back on the road.

The picture that I posted of the "Dirt Track" '32 Sedan went over bigger than I had expected in here.

Here's another view of it. [ see attachment ]

His name is Bill Wendt, and yes...he is a nice guy.

I looked at that and said to him... "Why would anybody want to destroy a valuable '32 Ford Sedan body by using it for a dirt track racer...?!" and he explaind that it was really a street rod.

I guess that we are now in the era of ( to coin a phrase...) Concept Rods... Some are period correct retro-rods... others are more like relics with interesting looking dents, rust and dead bugs in the grille. I like it.

Well I'm sure I want get any sleep tonight after looking at all these cool cars. I just bought a 31 sedan. It's in pretty good shape. Already has the top chopped but needs more for me. It has a new firewall and has the grill shell. I also got a stock 31 rolling frame with it. OK question for ya'll. Should I box the frame, stretch the wheel base in front, use a Superbell front end, and fab the rear section of the frame so I can get it on the ground????????
Or is it cheaper/faster to buy a rolling frame so to speak built the way I'm wanting to go???????? Thanks for any help.
