Im looking for a place to buy weather striping for a 52 chevy sedan. Also does anyone know the internet adress for buffalo industries for the 235 to t5 adapter or another place that sells the adapter. Any help appreciated
It looks like Buffalo Enterprises. http://www.inliners.org/buffalo/index.htm Try this for your weather striping. http://www.belairautoparts.com/
National Chevy Association may have what youre looking for as well. I got lots of stuff (including weatherstripping) for my 53 from them.
I've found Steele Rubber products to be of a higher quality than other brands. Their stuff may cost a tiny bit more, but if it lasts far longer, then it's a better value. It also seems to be more pliable, and an excellent fit.
If you are after the " period correct" weatherstrip Chev's of the Forties is where to go although I find it pricey. For my '46 Fleetmaster I just wanted to seal it up and keep it dry. I went to my local trailer retailer supplier and they had some peel off sickon at $12 a roll (I used 2 rolls). I did all 4 doors and trunk that: A) installed like a breeze (cleaned all contact surfaces first then wiped wih rubbing alcohol) B) has so far kept the car completely dry in several recent heavy rainstorms. I'm a happy camper.
