this was my fords first road trip,it ran like a top!it was only 45 miles. but im very pleased.when i pulled in into the parking lot it was filled with chopped mercs ,shoe boxes,buckets,models As.50s& 60s cars/trucks even a gasser.we hung out it the parking lot most of the night as everyone made circles around the motel doing ,burnouts and throwing flames.nothing like seeing a bucket with zoomys doing hot laps at 2;30am.it was like jumping back in time 50 years.had the law visit a few times and had a softball time all pissed off!the bands kicked ass,it rained on my bare metal no wipers and no hood ford,so now it has a nice shade of orange growing on it as i type this.i laughed so much this weekend my chest hurts.my liver is on strike!!!!! got to meet some great people and see some awesome rides.cant wait until the next run ...mike
Loved your car, looked at it more than once. One guy was talking to his buddy about "I can not believe he drove THAT here" I butted in and asked "What did you drive?" "Um well, I do not have a street rod yet...but" I interrupted again to say "THAT is NOT a street rod man, THAT is real" then just walked away. Alot of other cool people there though. I got sidetracked and forgot to get a shirt.

If you're talking about the Mini-chopper trip down the second story walkway to all the hotel rooms, at roughly 3 a.m..... What do you think we were doing up there? We saw you carry the bikes up the stairs and HAD to witness the chaos that ensued. I don't think "handlebars" dug it too much. Funny thing is the two cops at the show got the rest of us in trouble. Yeah, I'm blaming it on you.
There were cops at the show? Always trying to blame it on the man. The bikes just needed to be parked out of the rain. and it was only about 2:00.

Great stuff! Love the pics so far. I will eventually make it down one of these years. Raven-you should be able to attach a couple of more at a time by doing what you did for the first images. Browse and upload, browse and upload under you manage attatchments. When you get 4 or 5 in there then close the window and submit the reply.

What can I say that was a crazy weekend! I finally recouperated enough to sit down and type for a minute. So here goes nothing........ Mick, man you put on a great show up there in dewey. The bands, vendors and of course the people they were all outstanding. I really enjoy coming up and getting more and more inspired to get my car built. It was your show three years ago that finally resparked my interest in hot rods again, and I thank ya for it. Keep up the good work. See ya next year! Them!, You guys and gals are a great group of people, with helpin the CO dudes get home and just bein cool in general. I go way back with a couple of you dudes, thanks for lettin me hang out I appreciate it. Saturday night was a blast! Outsiders, You guys are nuckin futs! Nuff said. Marcy& Jasonic, I didnt actually get to formally introduce myself but we did conversate that night, you guys are some cool folks, I guess Texans aint so bad after all. I'll never forget the sparkler fiasco how could I there are still spots in my eyes that was hilarious. Phil, Tim and their respective ladies, You guys were some super nice folks I enjoyed talking to you guys with Doug and Sexton all night. Phill keep that nailhead runnin man I'll have one to run right next to ya soon! Tim, I cant wait to drink some beer out there some night sounds like yall have fun.
