Kind of a quiet day today..
Dirty came over to throw some shock's in his '54, and i spent all morning working on my 53..
I had wanted to get some pics of the two cars together at some point, and this was a good day to do it..we actually had sun! LOL

Anyway, here they are for those interested..

    Naa, it's not you.
I havn't done it yet. I wanted to get the rubber out and uncoiled, so i figured i might as well stick the chrome in it and get the shape in it..

I drove it around the block a few time's and got some **** in my eye's..i need to get it done.LOL

There's still a lot of stuff missing from my car.
Like the grill surround, it's still in the chrome shop..

  7. MMMMMMMM Tasty! Very nice pics. How did you guys go about lowering the cars in the front? (blocks out back is pretty straightforward but I want to drop my 52 so am collecting suggestions)

  8. Tony,looking really good.
    Pics are inspirational for sure.

Tman is right, that thing is straight!

I gotta get something like your car to carry the family in.

    Take it easy bro......Shiny

The car looks absolutely stunning !!! You really did a great job on that one ! The chop is perfect and works very well with the shortened side trim. The paint looks gorgeous in the sunlight and I like that color a lot.Very, very nice car ! If I remember correctly your plans were to go unskirted but I simply couldn't resist to add some as I like them so much and for me they make your Chevy to one of the best looking ones ever. What a GREAT car.Damn fine job !!!

  21. Look'n great Tony. I'd make some half-***'d comment about going lowered...but I lived in Rochester and know about those roads :)

Sweet looking rides. I haven't hauled mine out more than once since the snow thawed. It's just been too damn miserable.

Tony - I think I'm going to call Langdon's about the lines to run water to my intake manifold. Have you come up with anything yet?

    Later,
    Jay

    Hey Jay..
I havn't done anything other than look at the intake yet. Been trying to get the rest of the car done first..
Lemme know what you come up with if you do..thanks!

TheFrenz..thats pretty damn cool..and the skirts do look better than i thought.
Still kinda partial to this car without though..i just really need to get it down more. Believe it or not, it's got 2 cut coils in front and 3" blocks in the back already..not enough though..haha
I need top learn to photoshop like that..i LOVE that ****!

Graverobber63, we should be there barring any major issue's.

Singledownloop, i took 5" our of the front and set the roof profile to where i thought it looked right to me, which ended up being about 5 1/2 in the back.

The front coils have been cut on mine and the back has a rear spring kit (i believe from Posie's if i remember right) w/lowering blocks...It handles great,,if you have the extra money to do it,,go for it...
