so in a never ending attempt to make more changes to my car, I decided that some new underwear was in order. They were upholstered by Mike Sholley who did the original interior. I think they added a little zip to the buggy
lookin good, not trying to step out of line here but that shop is waaaaay too organized. throw some dirt and beer cans on the floor or something, your'e makin me look bad!
Now the rear wheel wells match the firewall, the top, the whitwalls, the interior, ...............Cool as all get out! You know me, I dig the early 60's stuff. Always cool to keep adding something a little different to keep it fresh and new.
I like it. A guy in Indy has a sister car to yours and I love em' both. To tell you the truth I talked to him at the Rumble this year and told him some guy was using his car as his avatar. He set me straight! I know I know..dumb...!
Back in the early 70's I built a T coupe and I did not have a trunk lid. So I built one like the one like yours ! The double curve was to hard to duplicate. but I had inside hinges with a motor to raise and close. Do you know anything about yours?
Check your PM's.......sent you a picture. Clark Bates built that panel I believe with a shrinker / stretcher That is the dirty side........you should be my buddy's side of the garage.......now that is clean
Man, Id just rent a room rather than strapping a bed to the side of my car! Looks very cool though....... Doc.
