1960 f-100 vin number??

    my dad ownes a 1960 ford f-100 we are trying to locate the vin # so we get it registered. can't find anywhere -the glove box door is missing I know some trucks have it there. any ideas????????

    i know on my 55 it only has one in the glovebox but on my dads 56 theres one in the glove box and another on the drivers side door jam. there should also be one on the frame im just not sure where.
     
  3. My '57 is in the back part of the p***engers door jamb... and the '58-'60's, I believe, were on the glove box door.

    You can also find them somewhere on top of the frame.

    glove box door,on the frame in front of the firwall.

    my 58 is on the glove box...its on the p***enger side frame rail also. between the core support and firewall.

    Check your frame rails on both sides just forward of the firewall on top of the frame. Most of them are on the p***enger side... but there are many exceptions. himmelberg

    thanks, we found it on the freme rail drivers side.
