Swapped out the two barrell carb for four barrell set up, installed the raingear two speed wiper conversion. Then had the exhaust sytem tailpipes re-routed and slash cut just below the bumper. Then finally found a nice 59-60 Impala steering wheel . The stock steering wheel is just to big for my taste. Those 59-60 Impala steering wheels just look good in 55-57 Chevy.. Thanks George for the steering wheel. And also Tim H. for suggesting to put one in ! Glad it's back on the road, it's been over a month.

Is there a noticeable difference in size between the two?
I have an Identical wheel I was thinking of using in my 57.

It is smaller in diameter, I didn't measure how much exactly. I had a chance to sit behind the seat of a freinds' 56 210 Sedan, and was happy with what size it was and well it just looks great. Being honest, it does help.. the stock wheel is just to big.

Let re-word that. The exhaust tips exit just under were the rear bumper curves around the quarter panel. Mike , My buddy slash cut the tip so you just almost can't see it. It looks very clean.
