nice ride. what are the head lights from? also, iv wondered why do people louver the rear deck lids? is it just to lighten them some? seems there is really no reason for such and if you live where it rains. the hood i can see to get rid of some heat. i like the looks of them regardless.. but is there a reason for having them? besides just looks. all i can think is to lighten the car a bit for racing. chris.
I've always really like hot rods with a race car flare to them. I really dig this one. I'm nitpicking, and maybe I'm crazy- but I don't really like the air cleaner on this one for some reason. It just sticks out too much for me. I love the car as a whole though, and I'd gladly drive the wheels off it!
Definitely a very cool car. Can't say it's what I'd think of as the epitome of a hot rod, but very cool.
It's a beautiful Hot Rod and "traditional" probably never popped into his mind when he was building it, it never came into my twisted mind when I built mine either.
Be still my heart!! One man's interpretation of a hot rod........and a damn fine one at that. Only needs more miles on the odometer............and possibly the replacement of that-semi bald rear tire. Frank
You fellas realize those are Firestone "Indy" tires and they are manufactured with the partial lack of tread.
This is way more of what an old hot rod was than the new rusty and /or satin painted-radial tired-electic faned-alternator equiped late model engine-disk brake-it's your car build it how you want it **** traditional we'll kiss your *** anyway Ol' Skool Rodzz **** you see nowdays.
It's cool...no question. But a hot rod with blitz black paint isn't a hot rod? And if we aren't crazy about it, we need to go to another website? Are you trying to be arguementative?...lol.
WTF! Where the hell was that hiding when I was there? I left around 2pm and I never saw it. Hopefully he'll be back for the Riot.
To me, it captures the essence of "hot rod" perfectly, even though it has elements reminicent of cl***ic sports cars and racers. I think the proportions are just right. The short deck is unusual and it looks great while all the other elements work well together too. Very cool! Thanks for posting.
Drooled over this car about a month ago during the regular Wed. night show and even my 12 year old son looked up from his I-phone long enough to take a look and say "Dad...now that is a hot rod!" Best part is that it looks like he actually drives that art work. Deke
Well Brian as much as I like to disagree with you I absolutely cannot. That my friend is a "HOT ROD" without a doubt. Ya got any more pics of it that should be in a magazine some where.
Yep, very cool car. Any way of getting that seat a bit lower. Maybe photoshop a dwarf behind the wheel, when we talk proportions.
