HAN places to put in??

Well i originally did not think i would be able to attend hot august nights this year but now it is looking like i might be able to.

I know it is reallllly late in the game to be looking at putting in but just this week is when i found out i would be able to make it up.

does anyone know of any venues that are still taking car registrations?
or are there any cool places that are safe to just kinda roll into?

or should it be a daily driver drive up to the show and just walk around??


any and all info is welcome.
and when will tickets for 2012 HAN be sold because i would like to get an apt early this year!

Grand Sierra, the old Reno Hilton. Its far enough away from downtown reno you dont get the banana heads, and they have a huge show and shine. Pretty sure it may be too late to officially register but I think they will still let you in to park in the lot.
The Atlantis and Peppermill are good too, but pretty sure they wont let you in without any type of registration. Good luck
