I get it. I have met the good parts counter guy and the dumb a$$ ones. We cant teach the impossible to idiots. When this happens where do you go? What is the HAMB list of good places or good parts guys to deal with? Quit *****ing and expose the helpers of the HAMBery, please!

EVERY store has a guy/gal that knows thier ****. Your mission should you choose to accept it is build a rapport with them! Giving them the right info helps a ton. 1970 Chevy PU with a SBC is a GREAT keyword if you run a smallblock!
