It runs and handles great. Now if I can just decide on a color and what to do with the interior. Any ideas would be helpfull.
Very nice. That thing's got hot rod written all over it! Exterior = gloss black. Interior = natural leather colors
Ohhhh My.....that is sweet! Lose the sticker from the dash man....if they don't know THATS a Hot Rod...no odds about them! Absolutely beautiful....
Beautiful! If i ever get my a$$ in gear i could have my Rpu out the door... But that is a really nice ride!
i would go for a nice saddle color leather, kind of like the king ranch fords. If not that a simple black would be nice. Very nice looking. well done.
i really like it ! last refuge body ? is that a smallbock ford ? was it an early one if so to have the generator or did you fab up that mount ? old wheel spinner for the gas cap ? lwindshield posts chopped and raked ? nice little roadster pickup i need to finish mine
Very nice job. I would go with a very simple interior in maybe a deep maroon. Pleated cushions on the seats, plain door trims with some nice restrained stitching. That's if your final colour will be anything like the primer. Are those tyres Cokers? What sizes? Pete
Very cool I like it. A friend of mine is starting on a 29 RPU this winter. He's planning on SBF power also.
50 ford truck used a olive/gray sorta green that is similar to the color of it now. i think it's called meadow green? brown interior.
Great job man, I really like it!! I'd probably stick with a darker color and some brown leather for whatever interior upholstery you decide to do... like a few others have mentioned. Are you going to leave that air cleaner on it? Malcolm
I used a Last Refuge body with a 302 block and 289 heads, the windshield has been chopped and laid back, I fabbed the generator bracket and the tires are Coker 750 rear and 550 fronts. The wheels came off my 37 Ford and I had The Wheel Smith widen the rears to six and a half inches. I like the way these radials look and ride. I like the black with brown interior idea. Does anyone know if suppliers offer distressed leather?
Nice job !! And good for you. Isn't it great to take it on that first test ride !! Cheers............
You have proven that cost is not an issue when fine workmanship is invested. I'm on the third year of my "one year build" so I am envious. Nice work. Color ideas on mine change almost weekly. Hard to settle on just one.
Five inch dropped front axle and mono leaf. Thanks for all the nice compliments. This started as a one year project with the intention of using what ever I had laying around and fab what I didn't have. It ended up taking three years but it was fun and getting done (at least drivable) is even more fun. I drive it every chance I get.
