No-Limit Engineering has a video on how to do it for $15 bucks. it was filmed in about 1982 but the information is good. it's a little different way to do it than the way mentioned in the post above.
I have that video and it is pretty dead on. I have driven almost 40K miles on my '58 Apache and the only thing I can think of that should have been addressed a little better was the fact that the steering might be overly sensitive once everything was set up and running. I cured the problem by replacing the bypass valve in the power steering pump with on designed for use on rack and pinion conversions using the Mustang II stuff. I don't remember who makes it, I bought the valve at Parr Automotive in Oklahoma City but I am sure it can be found at other places. If I was doing it all over again, I would cut the column and shaft off of my original steering box and adapt it to the later model steering box rather than use the Camaro tilt column. Since I don't want to go back and do this I am going to install my original steering wheel on the Camaro column this winter when I rebuild the front suspension. I have done some test fitting on another column I have sitting in the shop and it looks like an easy job. By the way, you should go post an intro to let us know more about you. If you had read the rules you should know that this is a requirement. It will also keep you from getting verbally beat down by some less forgiving members.
