Seemed less than last year to me. But I may be wrong.

  5. My number was 2006. The lady said that they got so busy that they double numbered some so they needed a new starting point. I saw 2221 on one car.

I know that is the number they gave you, however, I have a hard time believing that there were that many cars there. You know what I mean?

I got tired of this topic real fast during the show. The park was full, looked like everyone was having a good time, so what does it matter, really?

numbers, well it depends on what number you start from as well. All that matters is everyone had a great time, cars were parked everywhere, nobody died, and we got two more hall of famers, congrads to cliff starbird and gary gerberding, great guys. I enjoyed hanging with all my friends and meeting a few new ones. My big highlight was getting the gene winfield pick, and seeing bill hines check my caddy out real good just before we left on sunday. we had to leave early to go work on some wheel bearings so jack could make it home to cali. sorry i missed awards. So happy for ****** john, 777 kustom winner , very deserving pick! that truck rules, and is spot on!!!! glad to see it get back to traditional roots type builds. thanks to everyone who came to support this show. kansas needs to be on the map.

Despite a blown tire, fried wheel bearing some stuck points the hot temps. I had one hell of a good time. I walked that show 5 or 6 times went to the HAMB meet and greet and even won a video there. Shook hands and met Bo Huff, chatted with Brad Masterson after the band sat. nite got about 4 hours sleep. I didn't know it would be such a big deal to know how many others may have had as good of time as I did!

the only reason it should be a big deal is to keep the interest up and make a profit so jerry can keep putting it on. and it sounds like interest is high.

it is hard to tell about numbers at the show for a couple of reasons.
    - not everyone that pre registers shows up
    - people who came only for the drags have to be registered and some of them will not come to the park
    - some people just simply stay at the hotel.

iknow it was one less than i wanted it to be, i had to work and could not be there.
i bet i get a different outcome next year.

I just think that it's so damn cool something like this is held in Kansas, and not on the left or right coast!

I thought there was more there this year than last but then again they did block off a few areas where we did part last year. I know I was 2000 at noon. It was a good time.
