Is this correct? This carb appears brand new. Perhaps a reman. or did I
get lucky? Carb gurus do your magic. thanks.

You know what. A really cool guy picked this up for me, went through it, and gave me a smokin' deal on it. I'm going to bolt it on my motor and enjoy the **** out of it. And if it doesn't measure up to your standards, G.F.Y.S.
