Hey everybody.. i figured i'd ask the pros on this one. I got a 50 ford club coupe i've been working on for a long time.. and i think i've reached the end of my rope on it. and right now i'm feeling it'd be better to just get out of it, i've been so fed up trying to get everything right.. it'a a 1950 ford club coupe. it's got a 351windsor in it with a C6 trans, all freshly rebuilt, new brakes. discs on the front. new 4barrel carb, new driveshaft, new rear end out of a ford ranger truck, new diamondback classics white walls cost $700 all new rubber window seals, $500 bucks for that stuff, new wiring kit, new chrome stuff, new chrome bumpers, new scuff plates, lots of new parts.. all the body work is done.. and body is very straight and almost no rust on car, it was from nevada, clean title.. the hood's been peaked for a custom grill. i've got over $10g's in this car.. it runs and drives now.. but still needs some finishing.. like new glass in it.. well all the flat stuff, i've got the rear window, it would need interior and maybe a few other minor things to it, etc.. and i dont know if i've got the patience or $$$ to do anymore to it.. what do you think a fair price would be to ask on something like this.. of course im obviously going to take a loss since it's not finished but i dont want to rip myself off either.. it's a nice car and will be awesome when it's finished..

Well if it was a stocker it would go for somewhere between $4,000 and $6,000 grand. But it's not, so you might start at say $4,000 and add on the up grades you have put on it and see what you come up with. It maybe just an excersize that that might not give a real value. But really what is the real value, it's whatever you can get someone to fork over. Even an appraisal is just that an appraisal.

Give my method a shot, at least you'll will have a better handle on it yourself.

Is it driveable right now? If so, toss some blankets over the seats and drive the hell out of it. If all it needs is some side glass and upholstery, join the club! Bring it over to that glass place that everyone goes to out there....I don't remember the name, (Bell Glass maybe???) and get an estimate for what you need. If it's too much for now, then relax, you won't NEED windows until it rains the next time, and that won't be until August.:D

On the other hand, if you just want to sell it and never see it again, I understand. Bring it up to Pavillions and toss a sign on it and see what offers you get.
