I've never seen one. You could use a 2x4 manifold and use a couple of carb adapters. I always wanted to try running 2-500 Holley 2 bbls.
samIyam made one out of a 4 bl. if you look for roach rod pics, youll see it. or ... just wait till he sees this post, pretty neat setup
this question comes up quite regularly, you should be able to find previous posts using the search function. the scanned image next to Sam's was described as an ad for a Nicson from a '50s magazine
Sams intake RULES, I always loved it. Offy makes an adapter to put two 3 bolt style carbs(94's 97's ect) on a 4 bbl intake/
Lownrusty... I can contact the guy who CNC milled the aluminum block to hold the carbs... the piece was beautiful! It cost me $200 to have it done, and he can do one for you if you want. Then buy a Weiand X-cellerator intake, and cut the top of it off. The adaptor then welds into the top, and after about 10 hours of grinding and smoothing, it'll look like the one pictured. I never had it milled, and it was warped from the TIG welding... but Miles, the guy who bought the Roach Rod (then had it parted out) took the maniforld off and had it milled so it was true. Sam.
'spose a guy could also put a couple 2bb to 4bb adapters on a dual quad intake.. don't know why you'd want to though.. Paul
A little more info on the Nicson two carb intake. The manifold was originally tested on a 1955 chev. with the stock 265 w/power pac option. The old 55 had a little over 15000 miles on her. On Nicson's/Claton chassis dynamometer, the chevy put out 105h.p. at 4500 rpm. After the installation of the duel two barrell set up, which they called it the "Nicson power kit", the "55 gained 24 horses at the rear wheels! You can read more about it in the Jan.1956 Car Craft . Nice Work Sam on that intake. I had a Nick once but like alot of stuff, it got away. ------------------------------------------------------------------ vagabonds cc
