I was just given a Teltime large shop clock, it has a standard quartz movement and it has large flip numbers for date, day and day of the month. It looks like the quartz movement is corroded, looks like a standard quartz movement with a brass contact fitted over the hour shaft. every hour the contact makes contact and the clock calculates everything mechanically. I didn't see a circuit board, just different modules with motors and gears for each flip. anyone know where I can get a quartz movement with a specific shaft size for the hour shaft? if I can find one I can fix it, I haven't seen one like this since the seventies and it's too cool to not repair. someone pm me if you have any ideas. I'll have to measure the output shaft diameter.

ok i'll try those, it seems teletime is a division of chronos who makes the time clocks of course, this might have been for a bank or something, it's been a long time since i've seen a clock with a real glass face. I always liked these old ones with the flipper faces for the date, like an old scoreboard

I have one of these old Ford parts counter clocks. A little rougher than this one but I saved it by putting in a new quartz movement.

I have two. The first one is a Snap-on give away. I just had to buy a tool box to have them give it to me.

The other I have been told is a U.S. government issue, either a submarine clock or was in a missile silo. .....it's a wind up model and 24 hr.

    As you were, soldier.

anyone ever hear of Supreme ice cream? clock says supreme ice cream, the south's finest. I just paid four bucks for it, huge commercial clock with ac clock movement and it's supposed to have two light bulbs in back. the plastic bezel is hazed but thats an easy fix, anyone know anyone who reletters these? you can see the original letters but they are badly faded. I can't find anything on this company or the clock, so it's got to be a really rare one. the nice thing is now you can put a couple of those low wattage flourcesencts in the back and not worry about heat. I'll post pictures in a bit, it may be a while but this one will get restored :)

any ideas on who could repaint that dial on mine? there aren't too many clock repair people left period, let alone a specialist like that. I was curious how much it would cost, I can fix the rest myself

Just found this one. It looks similar to a "Cleveland" Hexagon clock from the 30's, but it's quite a bit smaller -just 11" tall. I've never seen one like this before. The can shows evidence that it was previously part of something else - maybe sat on an ad panel or something?

If anyone can clue me in - that'd be way cool.

    Eventually I'll fix the neon...
