i just got the finale word, we are good to go.

as i mentioned before, these kids will lite up with the site of the cool customs and hot rods. please remember though they are kids with special needs, so if your too protective of your car please just cruise through, let them view it and wave and be on your way. if you'd like, which id really prefer, to stop and meet the kids and let them see or maybe touch your car i think it will make a big impact.

these kids don't know any better. i don't anything could happen, but i also don't want any drama about anything.

we will meet up in the host hotel parking lot at about 2:15 ish and make a plan of whom would like to drive though an whom would like to stop. the center is temporarily set up in the big building right next door to the hotel, the bridge, so it will be easy to stay together. we only have room for about 15 cars to stop at a time, we'll figure it all out before we leave the hotel, maybe do waves, if there's enough interest.

also some of these kids are noise sensitive, so lets keep that in mind.
thanks in advance for all you support fellas/gals

we also have an other i-pad to present to them though the helping hands account!

That is great Ryno. Guess the Pig might be a little too noisy for this.

Yeah, the Anglia also. Sigh... I wish I had something that I could contribute. I work For Developmental Disabilities Services in Tulsa and we have a lot of surplus DME stuff, but unfortunately nothing that was on the list. Most of our folks have physical disabilities along with developmental and Autism is just now becoming prevalent in our organization, so we don't have any extra items like that yet. We may have some sensory items, but nothing like that was on your list.

  8. Ryno, I thank you for y'all asking me if I wanted to take my car for the kids to see and sit in!! I enjoyed it so much because I could see the smiles and hear the kids laughing! I hope we made a small difference in their lives! Well worth taking a short bit of time for them!! Thanks for the opportunity!!
Thanks to our other members that attended, Blacktop Bhudda, Ryno, and whover else is involved with helping that child autism center!!

    That was AWESOME!

It was great seeing those kids dig on the cars. They especially liked the 59 since they could turn the steering wheel about three quarters of a turn before the wheels tried to move.

Get out your gl***es because I have turned dumb on how to work with photobucket.
I enjoyed so very much so see these challenged children having fun and maybe having found a way to learn. I enjoyed to possibly have been given the chance to provide that one little thing for them. I gave my small part of what we may have done for a few of the many like them.
Thanks for asking me to take the time, I enjoyed!!!

Cool that you set this up, Ryno. Big props to all that went and let the kids touch/see your cars. Really sorry I didn't make it in time. Went into work on Friday morning and didn't leave Omaha until after 10:00.
