Those new pics bring out even more great parts/details on that car. Your Dad put a ton of time and effort into getting/fitting all the right stuff. It's a real treat to see such a great old time build...made my day. :)

your dad has taste, i grew up with out a dad i have a step dad now i consider my pops.. but, looks like he treated you just fine if he invites you to take the hot rod out while he is gone instead of you just taking it when he is gone. heh.. hey im sure we are all guilty of borrowing the car when the adult is gone.. im guilty.. would of got away if it was not for the damn neighbor.. mumbles.. good times, thanks for sharing.

I was just thinkin' the same thing ! It looks even better .

Don't wanna step on his toes , but the lights are E&J's ... I dig'em too . They get mixed reviews from the m***es , from what I've seen on other builds here on the HAMB ;) .

Cool Roadster and motorcycles! Where in Iowa are you from?
How long has the Roadster been together? Recent or old build?

Yes, E&J's for the head lights, the car is fresh. He finished it this spring. He really enjoyed building it. Before this project, he restored a '57 chevy 2door sedan racecar he built and raced in the early '70s and a mid '40s Dreyer midget with a 90cu in knucklehead (two Riley carbs on alky). There's some pics of the midget somewhere on here i found the other day.

Update: Last year, Dad had a top made up in St. Cloud, MN. He decided to put the hood on at the same time. Way different look, but just as much fun!!
