Today a true hotrodder and custom guy slipped away with friends standing buy. Sid was never a well to do guy but made up for it by skill help from friends and a smile that would light the world. Setting here with no one around I can now cry a little and miss my friend of 20 years.

Was this the Sid that was originally from Northern CA. with the Merc? If so I knew him. Sorry to hear this. Hadn't seen him in over 10 years. Dean

 

Dean that would be correct. 1951 Merc we spent almost 6 years taking from rusted out hulk to a clean kustom. Sid was a great guy never hurt anyone in his life and loved his partner Peggy. thanks for remembering him please think of him tonight before going to sleep and wish him gods speed.

What a blessing to have such a good friend for so long. Sincere condolences.

 

Sid sold me a dropped axle years ago when I was in a $$ slump...practically gave it to me. Also gave me a firm handshake. Sorry to hear he's gone.
