My father and I have been looking at a roadster to built for him once we finish his 54 Chevy truck and we stumbled across this roadster for sale. Originally we were going to do another build from the ground up, but this thing looks great! Since it has H.A.M.B on the dash I figure someone here must know about it. Who built it? What is there name? Anyone seen a built thread? Any info would help. Thanks Stephen
I don't remember whose it was was, but it was for sale in the HAMB cl***ifieds for a long time about a year ago??? Search the cl***ifieds and maybe you'll find who had it listed. It was out of Texas if I remember right. Looks like a cool car.
Cool car....don't listen to the coupester naysayers, though. There are a number of good ones here on the HAMB. I'm building one, too! I bet that thing costs a mint...esp. with that HEMI. Dayum!
It's on ebay now, about a day left with a buy it now price of $25,999.... was on there a week ago at $26,999 w/o a buyer.....I've got a real steel real 30 roadster with a BUILT Nailhead Buick with 6 deuces, 37 Lasalle ******, Colombia 2 speed rear,(a real 50's rod that has recently been freshened up) for $26,000.....
It was for sale on the HAMB awhile back. Think it sold for around 18k and still needed a little fine tuning. Now for sale on ebay, started at 29,999 and they drop the price $1000 every couple weeks to what you see it at now. I want this car bad but don't have the scrach for it. Sweet ride and 331 hemi if I remember right. I think the hamb listing is gone now. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford...8626778?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item19c7f0c25a
