I don't post on here a lot, but as an owner of a business that has had multiple bad experiences I felt the need to warn you guys.
We recently built a highly modified 63 Chevy panel for a customer. Through the process I purchased several items from AutoLoc, AKA Hoffman group, Keep it Clean etc.
They advertise heavily in the magazines and offer products at a reasonable price. IE: therein lies the the BS.
Every item I bought from them and installed in the customers vehicle FAILED in a short period of time. If you call to place an order, they are rigth there to take it. If you call with a question of any kind plan on at least a 20 minute wait.
I am now eating the cost of the parts and LABOR to replace their substandard cr-p. So Please beware. I will NEVER buy anything from them again. APPALLING service after the sale. The replacement parts fail as quickly as the originals. I have grown EXTREMELY tired of the the 20 minute+ waits to get UHHH OK we'll replace it but only if you buy another. Refunds??? better hope your not beyond 90 days or you'll have to wait at least 10 weeks for a check. ARRRGH OK I've done my part [IMG]

Just helped a friend today troubleshoot, then fix, a wrongly pre-wired Hoffman Group fuse panel. I would NEVER buy their ****. And they must sell a TON of it cuz I know what a full page color ad in Street Rodder costs. They do many multiple pages in several magazines every month.

I think it was PT Barnum that said something about a ****er being born every minute.

Yep, do a search, a LOT of bad experiences on here. Wish the heck I had been on the HAMB long enough to know about the good info to search for before I had bought from Helix, another Hoffman Group POS company. I try to search everything on here now. A very valuable resource for anyone trying to build a ride.

Being a retailer of their product I warn all customers against them. Granted I do have a couple of their fail safe items on my car. The last problem I had with them was a steering column I had ordered for a customer that was wired incorrectly. Turns out the customer and I had to rewire it ourselves rather than get any notion of help from those guys.

You can also add their Helix suspension parts to the list. They are junk also and potentially unsafe.

Price, Quality, Service. Choose any two you like. You cannot have all three.

The Hoffman Group is just another markup middle man seller just like Speedy Bill selling China junk but as long as people look for price not quality they will be in business for a long time.

The scary thing is they sell poor quality **** that can KILL PEOPLE. Its one thing to sell **** gauges, it's another to peddle suspension and steering ****.
When enough people get hurt or killed, then Johnny Law steps in and we all lose.

You can't force people to buy the good quality parts.

There are other options out there, people are just getting burnt by the lowest quality stuff available, big surprise there.

You can buy **** china parts for any car on the road, new or old. They come in a plain white box from your local parts house.

    That's the difference between a $5.00 balljoint and a $30.00 balljoint.

If people quit buying the ****, the problem will take care of itself.
