Holy hell! The Drags are tomorrow! I think everything is in place. I don't think I'll screw up anything too badly. Fingers crossed! In any case, you can follow my trials and tribulations on the forum - I'll be testing a new version of the TJJ...

To read the rest of this blog entry from The Jalopy Journal, click here.
Have a great and safe event! The HAMB Drags are on my bucket list one of these years. Oh sure Ryan, bring out a new version of the iPhone ap when us Droid users are still waiting our turn.
Did you send the warning to the city so they can advise the general population of "another disturbing event"...????
Just left the Holiday Inn, talked to couple of the guys, we are rebuilding but WELCOME to everyone this week-end, it's going to be GREAT!!! RON
now if we could just get live feed of the drags (similar to what bangshift.com does for some events) then all would be perfect....
My heart goes out to all of those Joplin Folks. My Mother was Born there in 1903, Her maiden name was Gipson. I know I have a lot of shirt-tail relatives there. Wish I could be there.
Hell... I wish I was there, but it wasn't in the cards. Next year Gadget, next time... And to everyone there, crew, racers, watchers...be safe, have fun, and please lots of pics and videos!!!
Cool! I'm going to try (?) and upload pix to my "Facebook" acct. & I made the 'album' public. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150284110604376.356103.713999375&l=8d696bc1fa&type=1 Chris
I just got back from a 35 mile round trip in the truck. I think we're ready to roll!! See y'all soon! (hopefully!)
I sure enjoyed the years that I have been there, I hope to be able to attend again. Be safe, and have a good time!
Well you're going to miss me. I have an excuse but it would just be an excuse. Have fun and keep 'em off the rail.
Another request for pictures and video...........LOTS !!!! I'm fast approaching the average age that the american male lives. If I dont make the drags before this life is over I'll have HRLC take my ashes out to Bonneville and the drags and spread them as she sees fit. I can just see it now...........her waving goodby as she reaches for the flush handle at a gas stop. Frank
