Can anyone share pics of the linkage from the tv rod to the carbs? Especially if you have aftermarket 3x2 or similar?

I'm trying to get ready to get mine worked out in the next couple of days. I have a Cadillace 390 with Weiand 3x2 intake and Stromberg WW carbs. I have a stock cadillac tv rod that goes from the trans to close to the center carb. Not quite sure what to do next. I'm mainly trying to wrap my head around getting two different movements to work together. That is, the back and forth of the carb in conjunction with the up and out of the tv rod.

    Pic for good measure...

Just posted my explanation on the wrong link so now that I'm where I'm supposed to be I'll try again. Had a hydro in my 34' with a 371" Olds w/ 6 2bbl's. Used solid rod linkage. First, ran one rod from the gas pedal through the firewall to one arm of a bellcrank mounted on the other side of the firewall. The second arm of the bellcrank was attached with a rod to the carb linkage. I attached a third arm to the bellcrank (actually attached this arm to the arm connected to the carb linkage ). To this third arm I connected a rod which attached to the throttle valve arm. Had to do some fancy bending but it worked. These arms should all have the same center to center measurement. The idea is to get a 1:1 ratio between the carbs and the throttle valve. When the carbs are wide open the throttle valve is wide open. When the carbs are closed the throttle valve is closed. It worked for me. Hope this info helps.

That sounds like an excellent way to do it. I always just used a cable to the trans
and adjusted it as needed. Tried to find a happy medium for just cruisin.

Pic is before I extended the ear on the bellcrank to get travel from closed to wide open throttle. 1950 trans, 1955 4barrel top end.
