:) i have a 1956 Dodge Kingsway Custom Australian built, I live in New Zealand and hoping some one can help me find a factory workshop manual for this car. Some people say its same as Plymouth 1954 model and others saying its same as a Plaza. I would like to know correct information before i start. the engine says P28 which have been told stands for Plymouth and on the original cert of registration it says DP49/3715. I would also like to know who is best people for parts, like a web address. Anyway, thanks if anyone can help and look forward to your replies. I have attached a photo of my car.

Check out the P15-D24 site http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_...eferrerid=1152 there is a ton of info there on the flatheads. There are also a few members from Australia who may be able to direct you to some suppliers in your part of the world. Your 54 is essentially the same car under the sheet metal as our 46-48's

You can also look at Edgy Speed Shop for finned aluminum head, intake and reground cams http://edgyspeedshop.com/

Langdon's Stovebolt Engine Co for intake and headers http://stoveboltengineco.com/

Paul Curtis for an adaptor to mount a T5 5 speed behind the flathead https://home.comcast.net/~pjplymouth/t5.html

Olddaddy here on the HAMB does disc brake and front shock relocation kits http://www.rustyhope.com/

Butch's Cool Stuff http://www.butchscoolstuff.com/ has Motor/Trans mounts for a small block Mopar.

A couple of options for stock type parts are:

    Andy Bernbaum http://www.oldmoparts.com/Default.htm

    Roberts Motor Parts http://www.robertsmotorparts.com/index.html
