I have seen several around, sitting out by the road for sale. I thought I would find out if anyone that would make the trek here, I might help them find a car. I am not totally with all the 40 and 50 body styles, but I do have a camera and I am willing to make an initial look at some of these. I would just rather see them picked up than see them head to the crusher as the s**** prices rise and fall around here. I have no investment or any reward in any of these cars, but just to see someone make something cool out of them.

The one that strikes my mind right off is probably a 50's I would guess a chevy. It appears like someone has started to change the nose around, so slots have been cut out but still looks like it is original with the gaps still opened up. I will try to get pics and see if I can find out some more about it.

If nothing else, I would take a bunch of pics and post them in the sitting and rotting thread.

I am can't seem to post pics directly from my computer to here...this is the only site that doesn't allow me to do it, and I do not have any online places to put them to post them to here.

Agree that posting leads would help hambers to find a goodie. A car restorer site allows that, and I picked up a cool eng/trans that way.

    It should work here, too..

Go to the bottom of this page where you can choose Post Quick Reply or GO Advanced..

Click on Go Advanced, then scroll to the bottom of that page where it says: MANAGE ATTACHMENTS. Click there, and you will get a pop up with browse ****ons to find the pic on your PC. Give it a go.
