  7. I used to park next to a 2dr 61 Impala everyday, when I worked for Ford. I got hired just because of my 55 Chevy, at the time. That car also got me a job at Super shops #1, too! Hot damn, I love old cars

I had a '55 Chevy 4-door wagon with a 348. Cut it apart and made it a 2-door wagon shorter than a VW Bug. Decided I'd try it on my '59 Cadillac 4-door.Cut up a plastic model first to see what it would look like. Discovered issues with the "x" frame design and much needed fabrication. Sold the '59 instead. There is still a bulge in my garage door to this day from it being so long. Sure would have been the neatest "SHORT" with the tallest fins to ever grace a Cadillac.

Here's a few of mine. The black 63 was original unrestored except the wheels. It had 50K original miles on it.
The blue 63 is a barn find that i redid everything but the paint. that was a 327-300 4 speed SS. Both sold.
The blue 62 is one i just finished a frame off on. 409 4 speed bench seat with air ride. Got a couple hundred miles on it already ironing out the bugs etc..Very fun car! :)
The maroon 63 is next on the list. Numbers match 409 glide car. This one is identical to the one my dad bought new aside from the motor. His was a 327-300 4 speed bench car.
I bought the maroon 63 from a fellow HAMBer back in Jan due to the Impala thread that was started a while back. Because of the connection with my dad's original one, this one is very important to me.

I have a serious illness with these cars...i love em.

Verrrrry nice. You need to put an album of it in your profile. If you do that I won't plagiarize your grill treatment:)
