This bi-metal flywheel I own is going on my current engine project. The teeth are pretty chewed up, so I'd like to change the ring. It looks to me like the ring is pinned on in three places? Has anybody had experience with this? Should I expect problems?
I'm also having it machined for a steel clutch insert put in, by the way.

Such a light flywheel, but the steel insert should weight it up a bit. Still, it'll be much lighter the a stock one.

But are those teeth usable as is?

Those teeth don't look too bad in your pictures.
