Just wondering if anyone will be going to the Turlock swap meet this weekend? A buddy and I will be there selling as well as looking for some stuff for our projects. Feel free to stop by and say Hi! We will be in spaces C-30 and C-32.

I will be there as well. It will be my first auto swap meet, so I am not sure what to expect.

Andrew, you are going to have a great day. The way I like to do Turlock is to make a quick pass thru the swap area looking for anything that stands out, then I walk back thru, much slower and dig thru the one dollar piles and all the other hidden treasures !

There is one then too. The family that puts these on are friends of ours. Between the Father and the Son they do four a year at Turlock. I can't remember the date for the October swap, when I find out what it is I'll post that one up too.

It all depends on what you are looking for honestly. I usually try and bring at least a couple of hundred bucks.

Since I am not sure of the etiquitte, if I am looking at a project car should I have the cash in hand for it or just enough for a deposit and the remaining to be paid on monday after the banks open?

Right on, thanks. I'm not sure if my back is healed enough to handle the ride all the way to Turlock, then walking the swap, then the drive home. I think I'll wait until the October one.

Picked up some shiny bits for my 65 mustang, other than that I did not see a project that intrested me. It did seem like alot of project cars there were HIGHLY expensive for basket cases. The 65 fastback for 15k was one that made me scratch my head. I did see a nice T on the blacktop that was not too bad, but it was not my cup of tea.

    edit: Boo.. Pun not intentional.

    I had a great time Junk :)

I hope it went well for all the HAMB members who were there.

Did anyone scoop up the black model T on the blacktop? Or the Model A truck a few isles over?
