    All,

Denise and I made an executive decision about THE LOCATION of the GMB breakfast. Let's all meet at The Exit Diner instead of Tony's. It is directly accross I75 from Tony's. They can handle BIG groups better and have a killer breakfast buffet. He can all sit at one big table and it's quiet enough to actually hear each other. So it's on the north east corner (Tony's is on the north west corner). If you are heading North on I75 you turn right instead of left at the light and an immediate left. You can't miss it. See you there.

Executive decison huh. Sounds a lot like a dictatorship to me. :) I vote for letting the two of you get away with it this one time. The Exit is better for a large group. I'm ***uming (even knowing the pitfalls of ***uming) the prior directive about everyone waiting in the parking lot so we can all enter at the same time is still in effect?:)

    See ya there.

BTW- if we go to "Franks" after breakfast, we may be able to catch a car cruise, just down the road at Ken's Diner, they have a car cruise scheduled to start at noon.

Sweet! Now we can buy "Hello Kitty" stuff in the gift shop while we wait!:D

Actually, that may be a little too far for me... you may have just distanced me out of the game...

  7. Gahdammit, who made you two presidents this week? Uh, okay, I took my meds...

    I'll be there.

I tried to get out of it, but I have to take care of somethings for my dad. I'll have to catch up with everyone at Billetproof.

Very sad, unexpected death in the family. My cousin Bobby just died of a sudden heart attack. His funeral is Saturday morning. I won't be at breakfast.

Sorry to hear of your family's loss. Will this have to be rescheduled again?

Please don't reschedule on my account. There are many folks looking forward to it.

A good part of this gathering is to see Big Olds and his new look. If a reschedule is appropiate then so be it. I suppose we could get together this Sat. and make plans for another get together in the near future. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Denise, my condolences for your family's loss.

Flathead Pete, I'm mildly disappointed about you having to work, but I don't see that as a reason why Jenny and Frankie can't come.:D

  18. Sorry to hear that Denise. Take care of family business first.

I'll come over or not, depends on whether the rest of you want to change it again.

    Charlie,
I know it's a long drive for you just to see a few of us. I'm all for for meeting anyway and I'll be there but I'll understand if you guys that drive a long way don't show up. Maybe it will be a table for one for me:eek:

Well Rich better make it a table for two as I'm still planning on coming. I ***ume I'll be seeing Donzie and Tom tomorrow for lunch so I'll check on the status of the Midland crew then. This little gathering is sure shrinking isn't it? All of the major players are opting out. Well, except me.

    I think I'll be dragging Bryan there...along with Steve's 427!

(Don't have your carbs done yet, though...I'll do 'em this week for sure, just got busy getting my heap on the road!)

I talked to Bryan about that again today, and he says it's FOR SURE gonna be handled this time. He's been kicking *** on his car, and we went for test drives at the same exact time on our respective sides of town!

(Two weeks ago, his Chevy was on stands with no engine, trans, rear axle, radiator or wiring in it...now it's on the road the same day mine is!)

Bryan fumbled the ball on this one for sure, but he's a honest, straight shooter. I have faith that he'll make things right with Squigy soon and come back around.

Him and I are friends, no doubt...but I have no stake in any of his deals. He's a big boy now and will handle that himself. I will help in any way I can, but he needs to man up and get this situation handled, and I'm confident that he will.

    Don't shoot the messenger, CB...

Well, I haven't heard for sure, but I may be going to FAB32's for a couple hours after breakfast, to see how bad he screwed up the frame on my coupe (I kinda feel like a gold-chainer, but he won't let ME work on it! I swear!! ). If it's OK with Frank, I'd like to hear YOUR opinions on how wrong my build plans for this are!:D

SHHHHHHH!!!! Don't spill my top secret plans just yet!
(although, just to appease the HAMB gods, I'm gonna skip the electric cutouts, and go with traditional burned fingers!:D )

As for directions: it's exit 136 on I-75 (Birch Run)... see the Best Western on the NE corner? We'll be at the EXIT restaurant in the parking lot of the motel!
