This was the first time my 56 chevy had ever been down the track, and turns out that slicks and stock rearends dont mix. 2nd to 3rd shift trashed all but a couple of spider gears, never less i still ran a blistering 14.84 which i still have a shit eating grin on my face from. My engine is a stock bore stock cam 350 with one head being serviced ten plus years ago. I couldnt believe it! Thank you Ryan for putting on the best drag racing event in the USA we'll see you next year...
Yeah Thanks Ryan! I only got one pass myself.... Axle Thunderrod is probably the only other person I know that understands it was still worth all the trouble.
It was definitely worth it, and if I get in next year I'm gonna do the same thing. Drive it like u stole it.
