Limeys at Bakersfield

Anyone else going to Bakersfield (CHRR) from the UK this year?

I did my intro in the intro forum. Surely that's what you're supposed to do.

 

No....This is the intro forum page.....You may have filled out a profile page to join here on the HAMB...two different things

 

I'm starting to feel like a proper numpty now!

I did do the profile bit, so at least I got that right.

Just to clarify - my intro is ***led "Better late than never", and is also in this intro forum. This thread should be in the "normal" forum - although I'm not sure I qualify as normal, based on my HAMB performance so far!

For further clarification, I am a traditional hot rod enthusiast from the UK. I'm also into the whole rockin' deal - real rockabilly, surf, Link Wray etc, and 50's threads. If you've been to the Hot Rod Drags there's a good chance that we've met.

I'm usually at Bakersfield for the races, and I know a bunch of Brits normally make it over....they'll be the pissed ones with the bright red faces from the sunburn...

And yeah, post this question again on the main board, and you'll get some replies.
