Has anyone used Julianos new crestliner wheel? Any reviews? I'm not sure of the price but I was wondering if they were worth whatever price they are asking?

Actually as I saw your post I just read that it is Machined from solid aluminum. Well I guess this one wont be breaking apart in your hand like the old ones

So how much are the Limeworks wheels- out the door? Wasn't there also a guy reproducing them out of El Cajon, Ca? I guess the scaled down billet ones from Juliano's appeal to the street rod guys...seems like they would also offer the original size and broaden their marketing horizon??? Anyway, I'd love to have one someday...

I think Juliano's said around $1500 and Limeworks was $750-$850(as per previous post).I am definitely thinking of one for the new roadster project

There is an unrestored crestliner wheel on Ebay for $100 dollars right now. It has no horn ring or center. It says there are no visible cracks but I have to wonder if put into service if something might rear its ugly head. The parts for an original complete wheel would cost you nearly as much as the Limeworks wheel including the purchase of the wheel and restoration.

You guys think that the Juliano's wheel is rich, check this one http://www.shoeboxford.com/public/827.cfm

    or this one http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17452

  13. Our crestliner wheel is as you said milled from billet and the cost is $1,500 painted black or ivory. They are direct fit to GM columns, 49-50 Ford columns and 32 to 39 Ford column. Will not crack like plastic and look great forever.

If these reproductions were the same size as the originals, and cost the same as the chevy butterfly reproductions. I would buy one. I feel like I could get a real one recasted for the same price as these.
