I used bleech white for years and never liked the fact that the acid in it would atack paint and alum. I found that Simple Green does just as good of a job with NO harmful problems. Just spray it on give it a min. or so then brush it off. The whites are as white as new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Simple Green or 409 works on our Diamond Backs.

And that's what they recommend. Bleach will dry them out over time...

I typically just use some SOS pads. Scrub them good and let it sit. Then just rinse off. Sometimes just sitting them in the sun for awhile brings the white out!

Yup.. bleche white cleans awesome but it seems mine dried out fast. I have switched to simple green/soap and water now.

** I have wondered 1000 times why the hell its spelled BLECHE. I had to do a damn google search just to see if i was right!!

Really old white walls will clean up nice with the profesional floor wax stripper. It is sort of hard on em, but to get whitewhite on several year old tires it really works. It also seems to melt the top layer of rubber.
It is sold under the brand name "Jet Axe".

Yep, like others have said, Simple Green. Wet the tire, spray it on, lite scrub with a brush then rinse off. Just as good as new. I never use anything with bleach in it on rubber.

...or use Arm & Hammer cleanser if you're into clean white tires.

I prefer the road film though:cool:

Simple Green is the BOMB! Some whitewall makers say not to use the old bleach white because it dries them out and causes cracks. Simple green can clean anything. I use it (deluted) to take the bugs of the fairing on my HD dresser. Just be sure to cut it with water for painted surfaces.

I've had some success with a mix of laundry stain remover (Vanish etc), washing up liquid and water. Mix it to a runny paste, scrub it in, leave it for a while, then rinse it off.

Spray Nine, take it from a kid who grew up at a used car lot. Best interior cleaner you can ask for too!
