Hey guys, I have a 46 ford coupe and I have a gm tilt column in it. Does anyone know how I can adapt a 46 wheel to the spline? It seems as though everyone makes adapters to go from original columns to new wheels but not the other way around. The other thing I could do is go the original column, I have the column but the shaft and insides are gone if I could find a original shaft I would go with that. Any ideas would be great

    Thanks

There is a recent post in another forum where a GM splined hub boss was machined down and fitted into an OEM Ford ? steering wheel. Can't find it though.

It would'nt be too hard to turn your shaft to fit the '46 wheel. Drop me a PM if your'e interested
