so ive done a little searchin and have seen many T coupe pictur threads, the T coupe club, ect. however not many of the cars posted are unchannelled, dont have a suicide front suspension or a large rear kickup with the tires way up to the top of the deck lid. does anyone have pics of t coupes with a shortter/taller stance/ maybe on a model A style frame?
Hate to burst your bubble but T coupes that are set up like that do not look very good. Just my opinion
Mine is sitting on an A frame, I just picked it up and put it on there to see how it would look.... and yeah, probably gonna channel it.
Check out my build, I'm working on a more traditional 40's era T-build.... There aren't many T's done this way, and I really can't figure out why.
not a coupe, but a sedan. Check out bigblockrik on here. 27 Sedan on a model a frame and 28-29 fenders. looks really well together.
Thanks phat rat.Just did a Google search and came up with a few more examples.Hope they help. The one on deuce rails looks to boxy but if you sectioned the frame it would certainly improve the look. The blue 60's style t is growing on me also.
im liking the proportions of blacktopic***o's coupe, proportionally looks way more "traditional" than the way long, way low look most of these cars are built with.
Here's one,Grits. I think it was a HotRod feature car in the sixties. Do a search for a thread ***led,The''Uncertain T''.I'd post a link,but I don't know how. EDIT:here's the link. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56386&highlight=the+uncertain
Check out the T coupe in the Oct. 2011 Hot Rod...non channeled, but raked front frame section....does have kickup in the rear, but I think you almost have to...sorta has a suicide front end, but looks like it could have been set up "normal" on the car and still looked right
I like this chop, its not too severe but the proportions are right, how much did you end up taking out???
