I found a bunch of stuff in seacrhes on stromberg rebuilds, but I could noot find how to do this. The end of the screw is hollow and is bent so I can not unscrew them, plus the screws look pretty stuck, even if they were not bent on the end.
Throttle plate screws are typically peened over at the factory, to prevent them from coming loose. To get them apart, you usually have to destroy the factory screws; then try and find replacements.Good luck.
Mike..spray a little wd40 on the screws .doing so on both sides.....I use a very small blade screwdriver and seat it it the slot before turning it tap it lightly with ahandle and sloooowing screw it out. If it does happen to break just go to the back side and drill it will a 7/64" bit and retap it with a 6/32" tap. they only break about 10% of the time. If you do break them let me know I have plenty of new of throttle plate screws..I have to as I replace all on a rebuild.I'll send you some if you need em. ****
