All this Chevy in a Ford BS just gave me indigestion! Also reminded me of a story. In the 80s, I met a gentleman and his son who did 100 point restorations on 55-57 T-Birds and '57-'59 Ford retractables. I was at his shop buying a windshield for my '59 ragtop, when my pal Ted rolled up with info on a '57 T-Bird he'd spotted. Well, the older gentleman was always ready to check out a parts 'Bird, so we piled in his '57 Country Squire and headed out for a look at Ted's find. Sure enough, about 10 minutes later we arrived at a house with a white '57 T-Bird sitting on a cement pad where a garage had once stood. The car was for sale, so we headed around back to check it out. The old fellow went ahead while we talked to the 'Bird's owner. He was lifting the hood when we caught up with him, and suddenly slamed the hood with a string of expletives that would make Jeanine Giraffe&buffalo proud. Ted and I looked at each other in amazement, because neither of us had ever heard the fellow cuss before, much less p*** on anything early T-Bird. He p***ed us on the way back to his wagon and told us we we were leaving...NOW! On the way back to his shop, Ted got up the nerve to ask what had happened. The old fellow cried out, "That GDSOB had a GD Chevrolet engine in it and I never want to see it or hear about it again!"

    HAhahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D

Tri-power??? F that. They look cool but I'll stick to my 4bbl. I chose a 302 bored .040 with coated flattops, .484/.512 lift cam, cast GT-40 heads with 1.6 roller rockers, Edlebrock Performer with a 600cfm piece.

Basically go look under the hood of any fox body mustang running around your local strip, lol.

The WC T5 will get an S10 tailshaft and a Centerforce II clutch and Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel.

    Open 8" with 3.55 gears.

A homerun I hope. God, 4 years ago I started planning this car, got it 2 years ago, and I'm just now getting to touching it. I ****.
