I have a 1939 Ford standard with the inner hood latch asssembly missing. Does anyone have a picture of what I need. I have the piece on top of the hood itself but thats it. The piece on the hood is missing just below the handle that you twist to open it up. I also need these parts if anyone has a spare!

On my '38 Ford pickup (same hood latch mechanism you have, the chrome part up on top is all that's different), I got rid of Henry's latch mechanism (which had no safety catch) in favor of a hood latch from an '80s Chrysler K car ('85 Lebaron if I remember right) including the cable operated release. It was easy to adapt, cut off the shaft of the original and kept the original chrome parts up on top.

I have '38 Ford Deluxe Coupe. It has a front clip from a '39 Standard Coupe. I am missing the front hood top chrome piece as well as the latching part that's underneath. Does anyone have a source, or parts for the hood latch? I also need the side chrome pieces for the cowl, door and rear quarter. Both sides are missing.
